I am an internist of 37 years and a finisher of 40 marathons, and have always been focused on living and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We had always believed in good supplements and had been involved in a previous network marketing opportunity that was not progressing as we wished. When the Univera products and business opportunity came our way, we were very cautious and examined the product, the science behind it, the compensation plan and the corporate structure, before introducing it to the people in our circle of influence. The most exciting thing for us is to see how the plan rewards new associates with income very early in the building of their business. After 30 years of running an advertising agency, I knew the long hours and high stress had taken its toll on me and my family. I just had to find something else. Six months into a corporate career I became disillusioned, realizing that the level of freedom I desired was not going to be attainable from that position for at least 30 or 40 years, if even then. I quit my corporate career and began my search for a better opportunity when a friend introduced me to network marketing. I immediately fell in love with this business model based on cooperation instead of competition and the fact that this industry allows one to build financial independence in just 2 – 5 years. My business partner and I started with Univera by getting eleven people started on the products in our first month. The product results started spreading like crazy and our business took off! Our business now generates a comfortable monthly income and the freedom and peace of mind that comes from having passive income allows us a lifestyle that I only used to dream about. Marcie and I have a new baby and because of Univera we both get to be full-time parents and enjoy baby Grace to our hearts' content!
My path to Diamond was not a complicated one. It takes commitment but can be duplicated by anybody. I followed the example set forth by my team leaders. I shared Univera products with everyone I knew, without editing people out. Once I had 25 personally s ponsored people under me I concentrated on helping the ones who wanted to work NOW, but stayed in touch with all of my other team members by touching base with them regularly. I got involved in OASIS as much as I could, participating in all conference calls, attending all events and fly-ins. I attended every lunch and evening meeting I possibly could. This kept me excited and energized and I passed this energy on to those in my team. Most importantly I have fun helping people to feel better and helping others strive to realize their dreams of financial freedom.
